With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Leona Fitzpatrick (Miramichi, New Brunswick), born in Black River, New Brunswick, who passed away on December 17, 2018. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Leona Fitzpatrick to pay them a last tribute.

She was predeceased by: her parent James Watling; and her siblings, Harry, Arnold, Eldon, Byron, Lorna, Ruby, Christina and Margaret.

She is survived by: her parent Ruth Watling (Ullock); her husband James Fitzpatrick; her children, Kathy (John Williams) of Colorado, USA and Danny (Catherine) of Toronto, ON; her granddaughter Ella Fitzpatrick; and her sister Hazel of Ontario. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.

As expressions of sympathy, donations may be made to Saint Stephen's United Church in Black River, or to the Miramichi Regional Hospital Foundation.
