In loving memory of Leigh Thompson of Miramichi, New Brunswick, who departed this world on August 11, 2024 at the age of 87. Leigh leaves behind a legacy remembered by family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parent Frances Thompson; his son Gregory; and his half-brothers, Kenneth Cook (Annette), Bernie Cook (Nini), David Cook (Claudine) and Michael.

He is survived by: his wife Elaine Thompson (Ramsay); his pet Tanner; his son Brad Thompson (Carmeline) of Napan; his stepchildren, Karen Tsistinas, Tommy Tsistinas (Nancy) and Mark Tsistinas (Rachel) of Miramichi; his grandchildren, Alisha Thompson, Lauren Thompson, Eric Thompson, Danny Burke, Steven Burke, Dougie Burke, Sarah Burke, Ava Tsistinas, Abby Tsistinas, Chad Deagle and Cory Deagle; and his half-siblings, Rose Sweeney (Paul) of Nelson, Shirley Stewart of Miramichi, Geraldine Mullin of Miramichi, Elizabeth Flanagan of Miramichi and Reggie Cook (Barb). He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
