He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Boyd Williston and Jean Williston (Lewis); his wife Trina Poirier-Williston; his granddaughter Jayde Lynn Marie; his siblings, Ellen Rhodes, Laura Lee Kenny (Ed), Theresa Walls (Lorne), Barbie Trites, Betty Anne Williston, Willis Williston (Judy) of Miramichi, Harrison Williston of Miramichi, Bobby Williston (Bertha) of Miramichi, Hubert Williston of Miramichi, Alfred Williston (Nadine) of Shilo Manitoba and Kenneth Williston (Jennifer) of Kingston; his nieces, Jennifer Gignac and Kelly Rhodes; and his nephew Johnny Rhodes. He was also cherished by many nieces and nephews.

Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11am on Friday at St Michael's Basilica, Miramichi, N.B. As an expression of sympathy, a donation may be made to the Oncology Department of the Miramichi Regional Hospital of the New Brunswick Heart & Stroke Foundation would be appreciated.
