Judy" Judith Margaret (Murdock) Sargent, wife of Harold Sargent of 17 Barrieau Street, Miramichi passed away on Tuesday June 12 at the Miramichi Regional Hospital at the age of 70, after a sudden illness. Born in Nelson Miramichi, she was the daughter of the late George and Beatrice (Washburn) Murdock. Although primarily a homemaker and loving grandmother to all Judy is a retiree of Sykes Miramichi Branch. She is survived by her husband of 41 years Harold; her children, Jacqueline (Chris) Hare of Miramichi, John Daryl Estey (Sally Walton) of Irishtown NB, Douglas Sargent (Laurie) of Miramichi, Sara Lyn (Jamie) Doyle of Nelson, sisters; Carroll Cook (James) of Miramichi, Debby Manuel (John) of Napan, Bernice Liptak (Bob) of Connecticut, Stella Best of Bermuda and Jean Parrs (George) of Pennsylvania, her brother; Percy (Judy) Murdock of Miramichi; 9 Grandchildren, J.R and Amy Burns, Jessica and Tyson Sargent, Corey and James Estey, Tyler, Tanner and Teegan Doyle and 2 great grandchildren; Chayce Estey and Benjamin Burns. Judy Sargent is resting at Davidson's Funeral Home, 597 Old King George Hwy with visitation on Wednesday June 13 from 3-5 and 7-9. Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated on Thursday June 14 at The Nativity of the Blessed Virgin Mary Roman Catholic Church, Chatham Head with Father Paul LeBlanc officiating. Burial will follow in St Patrick's Roman Catholic Church Cemetery. Donations to the Heart and Stroke Foundation, the Miramichi Hospital Emergency or 2 west department would be appreciated.
