He was predeceased by: his parents, Benoit Arseneault and Martina Arseneault (Roy); and his siblings, Rita (late Leonard Roy), Lydia, Ligouri and Alcide (late Paulette).

He is survived by: his wife Inge Arseneault (Nielsen) of Parkland, Miramichi; his children, Robert Arseneault and Lorraine Arseneault; his brother Evariste (Angela); and his sister-in-law Brigitte Arseneault. He is also survived by four grandchildren; four great grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
