He is survived by: his wife Elizabeth "Gail" McCafferty of Esgenoôpetitj, NB; his parents, Terry Vickery and Elizabeth "Betty" McCafferty; his daughters, Tatum Joe (Michael Willis) of Esgenoôpetitj, NB, Leanne Joe (Guillaume Breault) of Neguac, NB, Sara of Esgenoôpetitj, NB and Emily McCafferty of Esgenoôpetitj, NB; his grandmother Mary Furguson of Saint John, NB; his brothers, Geoffrey Vickery of Miramichi, NB and Jason McCafferty (Krystal Vienneau) of Fredericton, NB; his mother-in-law Jennifer Diana Ward; his siblings-in-law, Dale Ward (Terrance Paul), Joyce Ward, Randy and Rodney Joe; his aunts and uncles, Barbara McCafferty, Boyd McCafferty (Bernadette), John McCafferty, Vicky McLean (Wayne), John Vickery (Nancy), Marilyn Briggs (Jamie), Kevin Vickery (Theresa), Tammy Richard (Anthony), Angie Vickery, Patsy McAllister (Allen) and Shawn Vickery (Pam); his niece Aaliyah Vickery; and his pet Benino. He is also survived by many aunts, uncles and cousins.
