He was predeceased by: his parents, Clair McCallum and Mary McCallum (Muzzerall); and his siblings, Susan McCallum, Evelyn Sherrard, Veroica Verviski, James and Ambrose McCallum.
He is survived by: his siblings, Carol Lee of Nelson, NB, Rose Campbell (Brian) of Moncton, NB and Eric McCallum (Joanne) of Salisbury, NB. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Due to COVID-19, there will be no visitation or funeral.
As expressions of sympathy, in Joseph's memory donations may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society.
