He is survived by: his children, Mandy (Gary Surprenant Jr.) of Connecticut, USA, Brenna (David Pedgerachny), Adreena of Esgenoôpetitj, NB and Branden of New Jersey, USA; his siblings, Carol (David) of Miramichi, NB, Mary of Fredericton, NB, Sharon of Miramichi, NB, Tina Faye (Robert) of Miramichi, NB and Gerald "Gerry" of Esgenoôpetitj, NB; and his grandchildren, Alexander Peter, Avelene Emily Joy, Eden Rose and Ezra Joseph. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, great nieces and nephews and special friends.
In Joseph's memory, donations may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society or to a memorial of one's choice.
