He was predeceased by: his parents, Aloysius Connell and Rowena Connell (Grattan). He is survived by: his significant other Val; his former wife Donna; his daughters, Jessica Bond (Joshua) of Toronto and Marie Connell (Shawn Harrigan) of Toronto; his siblings, Elaine of Toronto, Mary Clancy (Ken) of Quispamsis, Aloysius (Irene) of Miramichi, Patrick (Hazel) of Edmonton and Stephen (Natasha) of Edmonton; and his grandsons, Nathan and Nicholas Bond.

As expressions of sympathy, donations made to a memorial of one's choice would be appreciated by the family.
