She was predeceased by: her parents, Wilfred McDonald and Marjorie McDonald (Cliff); and her siblings, Vera Garland and Wilfred McDonald. She is survived by: her husband William "Billy" Pallen of Miramichi; and her children, Brenda Robichaud (Daniel) of Miramichi, Shelley Ramsay (Fred) of Miramichi, John (Cecelia) of Miramichi and Lawrence of Ontario. She is also survived by nine grandchildren; three great grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
