Joan Elisabeth Legere Obituary

Passed away on Sunday September 30, 2018 at the Mount Saint Joseph Nursing Home. Born in Chatham, N.B . the daughter of the late Hudson & Eileen (King) Sproul. Joan is survived by her loving children Sandra Legere (Alfred White) of Edmonton Alberta, Cathy Legere (Steve Dube) of Miramichi, Peter Legere (Debra) of Surrey B.C . grandchildren Madelyn, Tannis (Ben), Liane, Carson, Emily, Alexandra, Josh.

Great- grandchildren Charlotte and Daphne. She is predeceased by her husband Henry Legere and son Christopher. Joan Elisabeth Legere is resting at Maher's Funeral Home Miramichi, N.B . on Wednesday, October 3, 2018 from 2-4 & 7-9. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Thursday, October 4, 2018 at 11am from St Michael's Basilica with Fr Dass officiating.

Interment will be in St Patrick's Cemetery. As an expression of sympathy a donation may be made to the Chatham Senior Day Care Program, Parkinson's Foundation (http://www.parkinson.ca) or to the Mount Saint Joseph Foundation (http://www.mountsj.ca) would be appreciated. The family wishes to express their gratitude for the gentle kindness and excellent care she received while at Mount Saint Joseph.
