He was predeceased by: his parents, William McNamara and Clara McNamara; and his wife Irma McNamara (Kelly). He is survived by: his stepdaughter Germaine Marie of Montréal; and his siblings, Stella Sampson of Louisdale, Hilda Bourgeois, Joan Campbell of Halifax, Gerald and Harold of Halifax. He is also survived by three grandchildren; four great grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
