He was predeceased by: his parents, Edward Barrieau and Ruby Barrieau (McCafferty); his brothers, David Barrieau and Paul Barrieau; and his stepsiblings, Ricky, Teddy and Theresa.

He is survived by: his wife Linda Davis (McLaughlin) of Miramichi; his children, Jennifer Curtis of Miramichi, Samantha O'Donnell (Quinton) of Miramichi, Susan of Ontario, Robert Barrieau (Heidi) of Miramichi and Stephen of Ontario; his grandchildren, Zakary, Hannah, Landon, Zander and Lilly; and his nieces and nephews, Christine, Tracey, Austin, Tyler and Paige. He is also survived by many other nieces, nephews, and extended family.
