He was predeceased by: his parents, James Pallen and Viola Pallen (Doyle); and his sisters, Myrtle (Doddie), Elizabeth O'Neill (Betty) and Zita Smith.

He is survived by: his wife Linda Ann Pallen (LeClair) of Route; his sons, Jason Pallen (Lori) of Barrie Ontario and Justin Pallen of Barrie Ontario; his siblings, Donna Baisley of Brantford Ontario, Dorothy Creamer of Miramichi, Mary MacDonald of Miramichi and Allie Smith (Loretta) of Bartibog; and his grandsons, Lucas and Michael Pallen. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
