He was predeceased by: his parents, Archibald Jamieson and Margaret Jamieson (Rees); and his siblings-in-law, Claire Olscamp and Kelvin Fox. He is survived by: his wife Celine Olscamp (Lynn); his sons, Scott (Christy), Keith (Melissa McQuaid) and Matthew (Megan) of Miramichi; his grandchildren, Brock, Claire, Henry, Daphne, Jack and Katie Jamieson; his siblings, Gail Fox (late Kelvin) of British Columbia, Bruce (Shirley) and Frank (Jeanne) of Bathurst; and his brothers-in-law, John Olscamp (Ellie), Denis (Sophie) and Gilles Olscamp (Sharon). He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.

He was also actively involved with many community groups through the years including the Kidney Foundation, Community Kitchen, Meals on Wheels, Ostomy Association, and various programs with St Paul's Anglican Church.
