It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Herbert Franklin Dickson of Miramichi, New Brunswick, who passed away on February 7, 2025, at the age of 85, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Harry Dickson and Ruby Dickson (MacNaughton); and his brothers, Marven and David (Rose). He is survived by: his wife Florence Dickson (Fracker) of Percy's Place; his sons, Derek Dickson (Carla) of Miramichi, Billy Dickson (Krista) of Miramichi and Craig Dickson of Miramichi; his siblings, Phyllis Thompson of Nova Scotia, Karen Morang (Denis) of Miramichi, Kathy Dickson (Carmella) of Shediac, Bobby (Wendy) of Kelowna and Dale (Jan) of Oshawa, Ontario; his grandchildren, Ryan, Garret (Rhayne), Emily, Faith and Nate; and his great grandchild Nesta. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, February 12th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM and from 7:00 PM to 9:00 PM at the Adams Funeral Home Ltd. (140 King St, Miramichi, NB E1N2N9). A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Thursday, February 13th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the St. Michael's Basilica (10 Howard St, Miramichi, NB E1N3A7).
As expressions of sympathy, donations in Herbie's memory to Percy's Place, or to a charity of the donor's choice would be appreciated by the family.
