It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Harold Somers of Miramichi, New Brunswick, who passed away on June 17, 2023, at the age of 79, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Wilson Somers and Ida Somers (Hamilton); his son Dwayne Somers; and his siblings, Mark, Lloyd, Bernard, Jack, Donnie, Frank, Edna, Kay, Pauline, Doreen and Blanche.

He is survived by: his wife Sandra Somers (Blackmore) of Miramichi; his daughter Kari Lynne Bryenton (Rick) of Miramichi; his grandson Logan Bryenton of Campbellton; his sister Shirley Harrs of Miramichi; and his siblings-in-law, Barbara Somers, Judy Somers and Sterling Mather. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.

As expressions of sympathy, donations may be made to Little Southwest Baptist Church Cemetery Fund, or to a memorial of one's choice.

Harold came to visit Ginnie and me many times in Portland. He was very helpful to us when he visited since he worked on the Saturn car's air conditioner, made some storm windows for the basement, wired up the work benches, fixed the light switch to the basement so that all lights could be turned off at the head of the st”
