He is survived by: his spouse Irene Hilda Matheson (Sharples); his parent Ida Matheson (Sweeney); his children, Karen McNeill (William) of Dartmouth, Anita Bastrache (Edgar) of Moncton, Tia Bastrache of Moncton and Gregory (Nora) of Miramichi; his sisters, Phyllis Allison of Trout Brook, Dawn Ann Jenkins of Napan, Douglas (Norma), Alexander (Cora), Joseph (Pearl) and Eugene (Dee Dee); his grandchildren, Elizabeth, Stephanie and Ryan; and his great grandchild Olivia.
