He was predeceased by: his parents, Catherine (Young) and Gordon; his brother Danny; and his grandparents, Bernetta (Theriault), John Furlong, Monica (Hubbard) and John Young.

He is survived by: his siblings, Joseph (Rose) of Beaverbrook, Carol Vienneau (Stephen) of Kitchener, ON, Angela Stewart (Darrell) of Miramichi, NB and Amanda Furlong of Calgary, AB.; his pet Chico; and his friend Giselle. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins.

As expressions of sympathy, donations made to Hope Café at St Andrew's Anglican Church would be appreciated by the family.
