He was predeceased by: his parents, William "Bill" Stewart and Ruby Stewart (Mullin); and his brother David. He is survived by: his close friend Dorothy Donovan; his daughters, Rosalind Nash (Sonny) of Maple Glen and Kimberley Lamkey (Rory) of Miramichi; his siblings, Gladys Cassidy of Miramichi and Don Stewart of South Esk; his grandchildren, Monica Nash, Emily Nash, Holly Trevors, Kendra Pitre, Owen Pitre, Kyra Lamkey, Kyland Lamkey, Kamryn Lamkey and Kora Lamkey; and his great grandchild Michael. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews, and cousins.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Alzheimer's Society, or to Autism Miramichi.
