He is survived by: his wife Eleanor Sobey (Gallant) of Route; his children, Lynn Harper (Kevin) of Elliot Lake, ON, Nelda Robertson (Donnie) of Ottawa, Miles Sobey and Shelton Sobey (Darlene) of Maple Glen; his brother Boyd Sobey (Joan) of Woodstock, NB; his grandchildren, Andrea, Lianne, Jesse, Billy and Jeffrey; and his great grandchildren, Sophie, Eva, Olivia, Kallie, Andrew, Elizabeth, Kamden, Finn, Harrison and Benjamin.
