He was predeceased by: his mother Josephine; and his brother Scott McGregor. He is survived by: his children, Jessica Matchett, Tyrel Scott Matchett (Ki MacDermaid) and Peter Wallace Matchett; his mother Roxanne Wallace; his sisters, Nikki Matchett of Miramichi and Tammy Hepditch (David) of Port Elgin; his nephews, J. J. Matchett and Ritchie Matchett; and his niece Jamie Hepditch.
