It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Freda (McAllister) Silliker (Miramichi, New Brunswick), who passed away on March 14, 2023, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Freeman McAllister and Mary McAllister (Walsh); her husband Blaine Silliker; her sons, Richard Nolan and Ernest Nolan; her siblings, Mary Lawlor (late Ned), Diane Kazamer (late Mike), Fern Hare (late Sandy) and Hubert McAllister (late Marie); and her brother-in-law Gary Silliker.
She is survived by: her siblings, Big, Bowl and Kids; her children, Corinne "Sam" Nolan of Miramichi, Greg Nolan of Hanover, ON and John Nolan of Kitchener, ON; her daughter-in-law Corrina Smith; her siblings, Anna Guitard (late Gus) of South Esk, Janice Dutcher (Eddie) of South Esk, Susan Sherrard (late Byron) of Whitney, Cathy Somers (Terry) of South Esk, Helen Gibbs (Brian) of Miramichi, Betty Henderson (Randy) of Miramichi, Loretta McAllister of Miramichi, Theresa McAllister of Miramichi, Art (Carol) and Paul of Miramichi; her siblings-in-law, Pat Nolan of Miramichi, Jack Silliker (Eleanor) of Hampton and Patricia Porter (Paul) of Rowena; and her grandchildren, Jared Nolan, Julie Nolan and Jordan Nolan. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
