Emily Matheson Obituary

We are sad to announce that on May 20, 2023 we had to say goodbye to Emily Matheson (Miramichi, New Brunswick). You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.

She was predeceased by: her husband Richard "Dick" Matheson; her parents, James Jr. Hachey and Elizabeth "Bessie" Hachey (Thibodeau); her sister Sheila Hachey; and her daughter Mary Elizabeth Matheson.

She is survived by: her children, Ann Matheson-Reade (Jim Orlik) of Oxford, NS and Jimmy Matheson (Cheryl) of Miramichi, NB; her grandchildren, Nancy Reade (Wayne), Jimmy Reade (Maddie), John Matheson (Alex) and Katie Matheson (Joel); and her great grandchildren, Trystan Hanson-Reade, Emily, Jaxon Concha-Reade, Sage Emily Aubie and Alexander MacIsaac. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers, in Emily's memory, donations may be made to the Miramichi Food Bank.
