He was predeceased by: his parents, Bernard "Bernie" and Lillian Fletcher (Power). He is survived by: his daughters, Amy Fletcher (Dale Jardine) of Barnaby, NB, Alana Fletcher of Miramichi, NB and Cathy Merryweather (Derron) of New Maryland, NB; his sister Marlene Cooper (Alan) of Nelson, NB; his grandchildren, Rae Jardine of Toronto, ON, Matt Jardine (Jamira) of Miramichi, NB, Bradley Merryweather of Fredericton, NB and Spencer Merryweather of New Maryland, NB; his nieces, Kara Cooper and Sara Cooper; his nephew Cory Cooper (Felicia); and his great-nieces and great-nephews, Adrianna, Tyson, Lillian and Liam.

Due to Covid-19 there will be no visitation or funeral service.

In Edward's memory, donations may be made to the Miramichi SPCA or the Diabetic Association.
