She was predeceased by: her parents, David Davies and Mary Davies (Nickelson); her husband Bernard Swain; her sisters, Frances, May, Rena and Louise; her sons, Derek and Owen; and her grandsons, Matthew and Ian.

She is survived by: her daughters, Ellen May Trevors (Frank) of Oak Point, NB, Janice Hay (Richard) of Moncton, NB, Beverly O'Hara of Ottawa, ON, Heather Davenport of Miramichi, NB and Mary Elizabeth Swain of Fredericton, NB; her sisters, Winnifred, Ina, Elizabeth and Olive; and her grandchildren, Edward, Tabatha, Troy, Derek, Jodie, Kin, Hong, Mei Ling and Raven. She is also survived by seventeen great grandchildren as well as several nieces and nephews.

Social distancing as well as the use of masks are mandatory at the funeral service.

As expressions of sympathy, in Edith's memory, donations may be made to a memorial of one's choice.
