He is survived by: his close friend Shirley Ann Somers of Miramichi, NB; his sons, Robbie Field (Tracey) and Corey Field (Jennifer); the mother of his children Donna Field of Halifax, NS; his son Shirley; his grandchildren, Dewey Somers (Connie) of Miramichi, NB, Kirk Somers (Sharon), Mike Field and Hannah Somers; and his siblings, Jim Field of Halifax, NS, Gregory Field of Montreal, PQ, Nancy MacDonald of Halifax, NS, Susan Innis of Halifax, NS and Mike Field of Halifax, NS. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews.
As expressions of sympathy, in Doug's memory, donations may be made to a charity of the donor's choice.
