She was predeceased by: her parent Alexander C.; her husband James; her son Brian; and her sisters, Flora Bulmer (Peggy), Alena MacKinley (late Robert), Helen Jean Arnold (late Frank), Eileen Lobban (late Byron) and Frances Tetford.
She is survived by: her parent Ellen Russell (Foley); her daughter Janet Creighton of Miramichi; her granddaughter Kaitlin MacDonald of Moncton; her daughter Brenda Creighton (Dan Moffet) of Ottawa; and her siblings, Betty Barrett, Gordon Tetford, Big and Girls Club. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews and great nieces and nephews.
A kind, generous woman all her life, memorial donations in her memory, would be appreciated; her requested charities were Miramichi Big Brothers Big Sisters Boys & Girls Club; Presbyterian World Service and Development or the Canadian Bible Society.
