She was predeceased by: her husband William Matchett; her son-in-law Dana Ward; and her siblings, Ruby LeBlond, Albert and Billy.

She is survived by: her children, Vicky Matchett of Miramichi, Wanda Matchett (Kevin Black) of Miramichi and Todd Matchett (Heather) of Vancouver, BC; her sister Shirley (Russell) of Moncton; and her grandchildren, Madison, Zachary, Shelby, Lexie and Nicholas.

Due to Covid-19 restrictions, there will be no visitation or funeral service.

As expressions of sympathy, donations may be made to the Alzheimer's Society or to a memorial of ones choice.
