It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Donna Maria Muriel Smith (Miramichi, New Brunswick), who passed away on February 1, 2025, at the age of 76, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Donald Hudgins and Muriel Hudgins (Worrall); her husband Lloyd Smith; and her brother-in-law Garth Smith. She is survived by: her children, Scott Smith (Paulette Breau Smith) and Shawna Goguen (Junior) of Miramichi, NB; her granddaughters, Madison and Darcie Goguen; her pets, Sparkee, Mia and Buddy; her siblings, Keith Hudgins (Roxanne) of Miramichi, NB, Bernard Hudgins (Joanie) of New Maryland, NB, Kevin Hudgins (Megan) and Geraldine Larsen (Glenn Weatherston) of Miramichi, NB; her sister-in-law Penny Smith of Miramichi, NB; and her close friend David Hanson of Rexton, NB.. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, February 5th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Adams Funeral Home Ltd. (140 King St, Miramichi, NB E1N2N9). A funeral service was held on Thursday, February 6th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Calvin Presbyterian Church (37 King St, Miramichi, NB E1N2N4).
As expressions of sympathy, donations in Donna's memory may be made to Calvin Presbyterian Church Miramichi, Percy's Place, or to a charity of the donor's choice would be appreciated by the family.
