He was predeceased by: his spouse Sheila Geikie of Route; his parent Ward David Geikie; and his siblings, Bob and Beth Lobban. He is survived by: his parent Bernice Geikie (Howe); his sons, Bobby (Shelly) of Nelson, Billy (Gina Nesbitt) of Woodlawn and Sean (Trina) of South Nelson; his sister Patricia MacLaughlin (Frank) of South Nelson; and also South Nelson. He is also survived by 8 grandchildren and 11 great grandchildren.
