David Merritt Obituary

It is with great sadness that we announce the death of David Merritt of Miramichi, New Brunswick, who passed away on January 20, 2022, leaving to mourn family and friends. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of David Merritt to pay them a last tribute.

He was predeceased by: his parents, William Merritt (Willie) and Laura Merritt (MacDonald); and his siblings, Jimmy (Rita), Robert (Cecile), Walter (Stella), Jean (Donald Irvine) and Bell (Robert Giggie).

He is survived by: his wife Shirley Merritt of Miramichi; his daughters, Debbie (Bob Hale) of Fredericton, Dawn (Tom Hale) of New Jersey and Wanda (Mike George) of Mount Denson, NS; and his sisters, Marion (late Edgar Campbell) of Ontario and Betty (late John Caron) of Miramichi. He is also survived by nine grandchildren; eight great grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
