He was predeceased by: his parents, William Ross and Blanche Brown (Whiggams); and his sister Geraldine. He is survived by: his wife Shirley D. Brown (Smith); his sister Barbara Jones of California; his nieces and nephews, Peter Moote (Rose-Mary), Daphne Fletcher (Akani), Karen Bartmus (Russell), Ted Carruthers (Sharon), David Carruthers (Lori) and Michelle Bradley (Sean); and his pet Monty.
