He was predeceased by: his parents, Sylvie Roy and Romaine Roy (Saulnier); and his sisters, Sonia McKenzie, Mary Roy (Trinkie), Eleanor Ramsay and Barbara Russell.
He is survived by: his children, Patricia Roy (Robert Scarrow) of Kitchener, Ontario and Richard Roy of Fernie; and his brother Richard Roy (Joan) of Miramichi. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews, great nieces and nephews, and many friends.
