He was predeceased by: his parents, William Kenny and Ann Kenny (Flynn); and his brother Brian Kenny (Carolyn) of Salisbury. He is survived by: his wife Coleen Kenny (Handrahan); his children, Shari Kenny of Ottawa and Shane Kenny (Talia) of Fort McMurray; his grandchildren, Stephen, Taylor, Karma, Tegan, Brody and Bria; his brothers, Joseph (Bernadette) of Miramichi and Edward (Laura Lee) of Minto; and his brother-in-law Carroll Joseph Handrahan of Charlottetown. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers, the family would prefer masses be offered for Danny or donations to the Extra-Mural Program and/or Palliative care unit at Miramichi Regional Hospital.
