She was predeceased by: her parents, George Bowie and Ida Bowie (Hay); and her siblings, Muriel McLaughlin, Gertrude Wallace, Hazel Moran, Grace Ewing, Theresa Bowie, Winnifred Scott, Raymond Bowie, Guy Bowie, Alvin Bowie and Edward Bowie.
She is survived by: her children, Isabel Carroll (Danny) of Miramichi, Cathy Delong (Walter) of Miramichi, Ruth MacDonald (Wade) of Miramichi, Blake Johnston, Austin Johnston (Sheila) and Ian Johnston (Doris). She is also survived by 19 grandchildren and 28 great grandchildren.
