He was predeceased by: his father Clayton Mahoney. He is survived by: his mother Helen Mahoney (Estey); his children, Nicole Mahoney (Jean-Francois Dore) of Ottawa, ON and Christopher Mahoney (Kylie Allain) of Miramichi, NB; his sisters, Cheryl Matheson (Jim) of Miramichi, Catherine Sullivan (Allen) of Miramichi, NB and Debbie Mahoney of Sunny Corner, NB; and his grandchildren, Janelle, Luke, Ava and Bentley.

As expressions of sympathy, in Clayton's memory donations may be made to the food bank.
