He was predeceased by: his parents, Eloi Mercure and Alma Mercure; and his grandparents, Nazaire, Nazarine Martin and Alfred Mercure.
He is survived by: his wife Cindy Manuel; his daughter Kayla Mercure (Alexander Poitras); his grandson Keegan McIntyre; his brother Daniel Mercure; his goddaughter Jenna Mercure; and his friend Christine Galley.
In lieu of flowers, we ask that donations be made to the Canadian Cancer Society in Claude's memory.
