She was predeceased by: her parents, Fred Brander and Muriel Brander (McLean); and her brother Thomas McLean. She is survived by: her husband John Ashton of Miramichi; her children, Tammy Ashton of Miramichi, Dawn Hare (Curt) of Whitneyville and James (Heidi Newman-Ashton) of Moncton; her grandsons, Jacob Ashton (Amy) and Cody Hare (Danica); and her great grandchild Henry Ashton. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
