He was predeceased by: his parents, Charles Godfrey and Hallie Godfrey (Lockerbie); and his stepbrothers, Murray and Hugh Godfrey. He is survived by: his wife Ethel Godfrey (MacDonald) of Miramichi, NB; his son Eric (Heather) of Miramichi; his sister Shirley Gibson of Riverview, NB; his grandchildren, Amanda Clark (Sean), Justin Godfrey (Kenzie) and Abby Rogers (Shane); and his great grandchildren, Ian Clark and Charlie Godfrey.
PLEASE NOTE: The funeral home will be taking a flexible Living with COVID-19 approach based on the needs of each family while respecting the guidelines set by the individual facilities where funeral services may be held. At this time facemasks and social distancing are encouraged at both the funeral home and Knox United Church.
As expressions of sympathy, donations to Knox United Church, Hospice Miramichi, Pine Grove Cemetery, or to a charity of the donor's choice would be appreciated by the family.
