He was predeceased by: his wife Helen Hachey (Murray); his granddaughter Ashley Austin; and his siblings, Marg, Louise, Yvonne, Ben, Roy, Reggie and Torrey.
He is survived by: his children, Linda Whitney of British Columbia, Nancy Stewart (Lloyd) of Quarryville, NB, Brenda Henderson (Robert), Eleanor Hachey (Rod), Judy Hachey (Buck), Dorothy Savoie (Jerry) of Bellefond, NB, Margaret Nowlan (Chris), David Hachey of British Columbia, Benny Hachey (Karen) of Maple Glen, NB, Mike Hachey (Brenda), Kenny Hachey (Leah) of Baker Lake, NU, Kevin Hachey (Wanda) of Beaverbrook, NB and John Hachey (Joleen) of Miramichi, NB; and his brother-in-law Billy Murray (Dede) of Patterson Siding, NB. He is also survived by forty four grandchildren, forty two great grandchildren.
Due to COVID-19 the use of facial mask and physical distancing protocols will be followed.
