Betty Dawson Obituary

With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Betty Dawson of Miramichi, New Brunswick, who passed away on June 15, 2023 at the age of 78. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, George Potter and Annie Potter (Gregan); her husband Paul Dawson of Miramichi, NB; her siblings, Vernon Potter, Judy Adams and Beverley Hudson; her sister-in-law Carmel Conkie; and her pet Thai.

She is survived by: her children, Paula Dawson of Miramichi and Thomas Dawson (Dawn Kingston) of Dartmouth, NS; her sister Margaret Pennington (Earl) of Ottawa, ON; and her sisters-in-law, Joyce Potter, Betty O'Shea, Margaret MacDonald, Patsy Holland and Merita MacMillan (Blake). She is also survived by nieces and nephews.

As expressions of sympathy, donations to the Black River Community Cemetery, Miramichi SPCA or a charity of the donor's choice would be appreciated by the family.
