He was predeceased by: his parents, Joseph Curtis and Verna Curtis (Matchett); his wife Vera Curtis (Stewart); and his nephews, Larry Corcoran and Harley Matchett.
He is survived by: his son Steven Curtis of Miramichi; and his siblings, Sheldon of Curventon, Evelyn Langteigne (late Bob) of Fredericton, Mina Matchett (Harold) of Exmoor and Elsie Taylor (late Norman) of Nelson. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
As expressions of sympathy, donations may be made to the Miramichi SPCA or to a charity of the donor's choice.
