He was predeceased by: his parent Stafford James; and his siblings, Jim, Perce, Stafford Jr., Robert, George, Kathleen MacCallum, Edie MacCallum, Dora Simpson, Stella Hubbard and Shirley Wortman.

He is survived by: his parent Bessie MacCallum (Archibald); his wife Ellen MacCallum (Jardine) of Miramichi; his children, Diane (Thomas Abraham Asoyuf) of Miramichi, Rhonda (Frank Harris) of Cassillis, Richard MacCallum (Sally Brophy) of Blackville and Donald MacCallum (Tracey Lamkey) of Napan; his sisters, Peggy (Eldon Steeves) and Helen (Robert Coakley); his grandchildren, Kelsey Carter, Craig MacCallum, Robyn Harris, Kelli Harris, Judd Asoyuf and Saul Asoyuf; and his great grandchildren, Owen, Easton, Ella and Vada. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.

As expressions of sympathy, donations may be made to the Miramichi Senior Citizens Home, or to the Miramichi SPCA.
