He is survived by: his wife Gail Matchett of Miramichi, NB; his children, Carol Anne of Grand Prairie, AB, Angela Sturgeon (Jeremy) of Quarryville, NB, Krista Matchett of Millerton, NB and Larry McKay (Lynn) of Red Deer, AB; his sister Marjorie Scott of Dartmouth, NS; his grandchildren, Dareth O'Brien, Abby Sturgeon, Karly Peterson, Kristopher McKay and Andrew McKay; and his great grandchildren, Alyssa Parks and Ashur McKay. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
