She was predeceased by: her parents, Robert Parks and Minnie Parks (Howe); her children, Nancy Melvin and Donnie Gillis; and her siblings, Treva Matchett, Iva Hamilton, Betty Mutch, Hazel MacDonald, Evelyn Baisley, Carolyn Parks, Blair, Robert and Harold Parks.

She is survived by: her husband Roy Gillis of Napan; her children, Darlene MacDonald (Darrell) of Napan Bay, Penny Hebert (Rejean) of Pointe-Sapin, Patty Taylor (Tim) of Napan, Sandra Berscheid (Jim) of Lincoln, NB, John Gillis (Brenda) of Napan and Kirk Gillis (Tanya) of Napan; her son-in-law Ron Melvin of Napan; her siblings, Myrtle Dickson (Erwin) of Napan, Mae Mahar (Tom) of Ontario, Judy Murdock (Percy) of Miramichi and Donald Parks of Miramichi; her sister-in-law Marie Parks of Miramichi; and her nephew Ricky Parks of Moncton. She is also survived by 15 grandchildren and 16 great-grandchildren.
