He was predeceased by: his parents, Davis Adams and Margaret Adams (Gustavsen); his sisters, Astrid Jowett and Christine Adams; and his brother-in-law Chris Jowett.

He is survived by: his brothers, Brandt (Donna) and John (Sandy); and his aunt Betty Lordly of Halifax. He is also survived by many cousins and life long friends.
