She was predeceased by: her husband Herman Johnston; her parents, Willard MacDonald and Jessie MacDonald (Fowlie); her children, Karen and Darrel; and her siblings, Joyce and Francis.
She is survived by: her children, Gail Somers of Miramichi, Donna Barry (Jack) of Ontario, Alice Breau (Mike) of Moncton, Johnny of Ontario, Richard (Coral) of Bay and Vin; and her siblings, Dorothy Dick and Edgar MacDonald (Barbara) of Sussex, NB.. She is also survived by fifteen grandchildren; many great-grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews.
As expressions of sympathy, donations to a charity of the donor's choice would be appreciated by the family.
