He was predeceased by: his parents, Roland Lavoie and Alexina Lavoie (Martin); and his siblings, Robert, Marcel, Fernand Lavoie, Madeline Lavoie, Lydia Tracy and Simone Lavoie.
He is survived by: his siblings, Charlie, Luke Lavoie, Rolande Roy, Lucienne Lloyd, Leona MacKay and Yolanda Lavoie. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews and cousins.
