He was predeceased by: his parents, John McAllister and Muriel McAllister; his wife Wendy McAllister (Thompson); his daughter Lisa Marie Gibbon; and his brothers, Robert McAllister and John McAllister.

He is survived by: his daughters, Rhonda Copeland (Jody), Tracy Parlee (Joey) and Beth McAllister; his great grandchild Wren; and his siblings, Roy McAllister (Barbara), Juanita Furlotte, Brenda Wilson (Tim), Christine Bishop (Barry) and Terry Dumphy (Paula). He is also survived by 9 grandchildren, several niece, nephews and cousins.
